DAY 1: SIEM REAP ARRIVAL – ANGKOR THOM – ANGKOR WAT (L/D)
AM: Upon arrival in Siem Reap, Cambodia; guests are met by our tour guide and transferred to their hotel. The tour starts with a visit to the South Gate of Angkor Thom, and Bayon Temple - Built in the late 12th and early 13th centuries by King Jayavarman VII, it is one of the most popular sites in the Angkor complex. The architectural design of Bayon Temple exemplifies the grandeur and majesty of Angkor. The tour continues to Baphoun Temple, Terrace of Elephants and Terrace of the Leper King. Lunch in restaurant.
PM: In the afternoon we explore Angkor Wat - One of the great wonders of the world, it was built in the early 12th century during the reign of King Suryavarman II (AD 1113-1150). In the evening, guests enjoy watching the sunset from the temple mountain of Bakheng. Overnight stay in Siem Reap hotel.
DAY 2: SIEM REAP – SMALL CIRCUIT – GRAND CIRCUIT (B/L/D)
AM: After breakfast, the tour of Khmer Angkor temples continues with the so-called Small Circuit which includes Banteay Kdei, Srah Srang, and Ta Prohm, the incredible jungle temple, which was built in AD 1186 by King Jayavarman VII and dedicated to his mother. We then continue to Takeo, Thommanon, and Chau Say Tevoda. Lunch in restaurant.
PM: In the afternoon, we continue with the Grand Circuit which includes Prasat Kravan, East Mebon, Pre Rup and Preah Khan. Overnight stay in Siem Reap hotel.
DAY 3: BANTEAY SREI – NEAK POAN (B/L/D)
AM: We explore the temple of Banteay Srei, built in the second half of the 10th century during the reigns of King Rajendravarman and King Jayavarman V, and dedicated to Brahmanism. The special charm of this temple is in its remarkable state of preservation, small size and intricate stone carvings. Lunch in a restaurant
PM: We continue to visit Ta Som, Krol Ko and Neak Poan. Dinner and Overnight stay in Siem Reap.
DAY 4: TONLE SAP LAKE - KAMPONG THOM (B/L/D)
This morning the guests will take a boat cruise to discover the great lake "Tonle Sap", the biggest fresh water lake in Southeast Asia, where there are lots of fishes. These fishes are exported by the multiple villages of fishermen. There you will have a chance to interact with them. You will also visit a fish & a crocodile farm. Lunch at local restaurant
After lunch we will Drive to Kampong Thom, you will also visit Prasat Sambo Prei Kuk, the site was once an old capital named Isanapura and a religious center for the worship of Shiva Brahmanism. Overnight stay in Kampong Thom.
DAY 5: KAMPONG THOM – KRATIE (B/L/D)
This morning, we will continue with our trip to Kratie province, a heavily forested province spanning the Mekong River. It was one of the first areas to fall to Khmer Rouge; it is also the best place in the country to see the rare Irrawaddy dolphins, which live in the Mekong River. On the way we will visit Wat Nokor temple, which was built during the reign of king Jayavarman VII (1181 – 1218) in Kampong Cham province. Then we continue to visit Chub Rubber Plantation, established by the French for manufacturing tires.
Hotel check in at Kratie. Lunch at local restaurant.
In the afternoon, you will take a boat trip to Prek Kampi where you will have the opportunity to swim & to see the exceptional Mekong’s intelligent Dolphins. Overnight stay in Kratie .
DAY 6: KRATIE – RATANAKIRI (B/L/D)
Today we will start a tour in the early morning to drive to Banlung in the Ratanakiri province, the town center of Ratanakiri. The province is one of the most popular provinces, in the northeast of the Cambodia, for its ethnic minorities, elephants, waterfalls and jungle.
Check in hotel then having lunch.
In the afternoon, departure for a small trip through the rubber plantations towards the nearby waterfalls; we will take a detour to Yaklaom Lake, a beautiful and perfect round stretch of water, surrounded by forest, for a late afternoon swim. Overnight stay in Ratanakiri.
DAY 7: THE TAMPOUN TOTEMS – VOEN SAI (B/L/D)
This morning we will drive to the northwest of the town, you will pass through bamboo forests before reaching the village of VOEN Sai. Voeun Sai is located on the left bank of Tonle San; It is a pleasant little community of Chinese, Lao and Kreung villagers. Originally, the town was located on the north bank of the river and known as Virachay, but these days the main settlement is on the south bank. Upstream of the Se San are a number of Tampoun villages that practice funeral statuary; if possible, you will rent a boat to go to the village of Ka Choan that has superb totems, if not we will reach this village by jeep. Overnight Stay in Ratanakiri.
DAY 8: RATANAKIRI – PHNOM PENH (B/L/D)
Early departure by private air-conditioned vehicle to Phnom Penh for a full day trip. Lunch at local restaurant. Overnight stay in Phnom Penh.
DAY 9: PHNOM PENH –ROYAL PALACE – SILVER PAGODA – NATIONAL MUSEUM (B/L/D)
This morning the visits will start from Wat Phnom Penh, Royal Palace, Silver Pagoda - Built in 1866, the site contains various buildings of interest, including the Khmer-style Throne Hall. South of the Throne Hall are the Royal Treasury and the Villa of Napoleon III, built in Egypt in 1866, for the opening of the Suez Canal , and was later presented to the Cambodian king as a gift. The famous Silver Pagoda, originally constructed of wood in 1866, was expanded in 1962 by King Sihanouk who had the floor inlaid with 5,329 solid silver tiles, hence its name. Tours continue to National Museum - North of the palace grounds, the building was designed in Khmer-style, in 1920, by a French architect, and contains important artifacts and sculptures from the Angkor era and earlier. Lunch at a local restaurant. In the afternoon, we will visit Genocide Museum S21 or Tuol Sleng - originally built as a secondary school named Tuol Svay Prey High School in 1960, during the reign of Preah Batnorodom Sihanouk. The Khmer Rouge converted this into a torture and interrogation centre to extract 'confessions' of anti-government sentiment and Killing field Cheung Ek. Then we enjoy shopping at the Russian Market. Overnight stay in Phnom Penh
DAY 10: PHNOM PENH – DEPARTURE (B)
Free at your leisure until transfer the airport for departure flight
