INCLUDED!: Volunteer with children in a rural village, visit Angkor Wat, Angkor Thom, Bayon. Hotels, private car, meals and more! THE HUMANITARIAN SUMMARY: Day 1: Siem Reap Arrival - Visit and Interact with children at CAMDOC Training Center. In the afternoon, boat trip to see floating villages on Tonle Sap lake (Lunch) Day 2: Countryside tour - Community work - Constructing water well for the poor (Breakfast/Lunch) Day 3: Visit Angkor Thom - Angkor Wat (including Bayon temple) - (Breakfast/Lunch) Day 4: Visit Small & Grand circuit, including Ta Prohm temple (Breakfast/Lunch) Day 5: Siem Reap departure (Breakfast) DETAILED ITINERARY: DAY 1: ARRIVAL AT SIEM REAP – INTERACT WITH STUDENTS (Lunch) MORNING: Guests will be welcomed by your tour guide and driver and taken to the hotel. Then, guests go to CAMDOC Training Center (founded by Trusted Cambodia Tours and Cambodia Child Aid, Germany) to interact with the students. Guests will select a student or a child they'd like to sponsor. Lunch at a restaurant. AFTERNOON/EVENING: Guests visit floating villages and take a boat trip on the Tonle Sap Lake - the largest lake in Southeast Asia. Overnight Stay in Siem Reap hotel.
MORNING: After breakfast, guests visit countryside villages to interact with locals and select the place to give the water well (www.camdocaid.org for more info). Lunch at local restaurant. AFTERNOON/EVENING: Guests start charity work---building a water well with our skilled labourers. After construction is completed, guests give the water well to the villagers. Overnight Stay at the Siem Reap hotel.
MORNING: Guests visit the South Gate of Angkor Thom, and Bayon Temple. Built in the late 12th and early 13th centuries by King Jayavarman VII, it is one of the most popular sites in the Angkor complex. The tour continues to Baphoun Temple, Terrace of Elephants and Terrace of the Leper King. Lunch in restaurant.
MORNING: After breakfast, the tour of Khmer Angkor temples continues with the Small Circuit which includes Banteay Kdei, Srah Srang, and Ta Prohm, the incredible jungle temple. We then continue to Takeo, Thommanon, and Chau Say Tevoda. Lunch in restaurant.
