Amazing Day Trips

Check out the four action-packed, affordable day trips below.

In the morning, guests will be picked up from their hotel or guesthouse, and the tour starts with a visit to Angkor Thom, and includes the South Gate, Bayon Temple, Bapuon Temple, the Terrace of the Elephants and the Terrace of the Leper King. In the afternoon, the tour continues by visiting Angkor Wat. Then enjoy watching the sunset from the top of Bakheng Temple Mountain.

In the morning we visit Tonle Sap Lake - the largest lake in Southeast Asia, and we take a boat trip to see the Floating Village and a unique way of life.
In the afternoon we visit the Cambodian Cultural Village to see displays of Cambodian and ethnic minority group history, culture and dance.

Guests are picked up from their hotel or guesthouse. At 8:00am the tour starts with a visit to a rural area of Siem Reap, Reurl Commune, about 25 km from town. This commune is one of the poorest communities  in Siem Reap Province.

Upon arrival in the village, guests experience an oxcart ride to see the rice fields. Guests learn about rice farming, and can help farmers with rice planting. The tour continues to the CAMDOC Training Center. This center was founded by Trusted Cambodia Tours in cooperation with the German aid organization, Cambodia Child Aid. The center provides free education and vocational training for villagers and school children. Guests can teach English to the children.

We then take a break for lunch.

On the way back to Siem Reap, we visit a silk farm located about 15km from town. Guests will be taken back to their hotel or guesthouse. In the evening about 7:00pm, they will be picked up and taken to a restaurant for a buffet dinner and Apsara dance show.

This is a full-day tour exploring the outlying temples of Banteay Srey, Banteay Samre, and the River of a Thousand Lingas at Kbal Spean.

Banteay Srey was built in the second half of the 10th century. The charm of this temple is in its remarkable state of preservation, small size and intricate stone carvings.

Kbal Spean is an intricately carved riverbed in the Cambodian jungle.
